Hair Was Cut, But I Don't Know If You Can Call It A Haircut
So I had had enough. Every single one of my kids had self cut hair, hair that couldn't really be repaired until months later when it was a little longer. So today was that day. Atticus was the top of my list. He was looking terrible you gize. I am sure I was days away from someone telling me that my daughter was so cute. I couldn't stand it anymore. And having to "do" his hair was more than I signed up for. I am already changing his diaper.
I had to negotiate for weeks to get Atticus's hair cut. I offered things I am not proud of. It is going to look a lot different when it dries. Cross your fingers.

I am sure it will look great. I chopped my hair off today, too. You will have to wait to see what it looks like, though!
I sure hope you kept that little pile of hair for their scrap books. Or maybe you could sell it on ebay.
Silly Emily! I have bags full of first haircuts, I think three for each kid, and besides, didn't you notice the other stuff in my pile besides hair? What? Put that in my scrapbook too?
I'm no cosmetologist, but it looks good to me. BTW, Violets pj's bring back memories.
"I offered things I'm not proud of."
Lollerz. That is the best negotiation tool out there. You did what you had to do.
My first stop of the day.
You're a regular Delilah, cutting Samson's hair like that. It looks pretty good from what I can see of him in the background there. Why no close-up of him, though? I'll be a lil nervous until I see one.
PS. Violet's PJs also gave me flash backs of that fateful week that Hazel never took them off.
WHA?... Atticus has a forehead??
So now it's been a while. Lets get that followup post. I think so far so good. And just what was it you were offering Atticus. You sparked my curiosity.
It wasn't what she offered Atticus, it was what she offered Tom for letting her cut Atticus' hair.
And we're ALL curious.
I can't get passed Atticus and his new hair-do. You did a great job!
