My Situation

We are down to the wire guys.

As most of you know, last year I spent a good part of the summer in Idaho caring for my mom. While I was here, I realized that there was something really special about this place. So, I impulsively packed up the family and moved them here. Tom had to stay behind to tie up the loose ends. I thought it would be about a month of back and forth, but it somehow turned into 7 months. The hardest time of both of our lives. Now I see the light at the end of the tunnel. He is going back for the last long time. We finally got ourselves a manager that has a vested interest in our business, with plans to buy us out. I am all for this. I would like to leave Las Vegas behind and have nothing tying us there. Don't you be too worried about us. We are starting up the same business here. We won't be jobless, and we are stimulating the economy at the same time. You're welcome, Idaho.

A side note. We got a new dog. (See how impulsive I am?) She is really sweet, and left with Tom. I am hoping that she is house trained by the time he comes back in a couple weeks. That puts us at one fish, two cats, and two dogs. I don't know how I get talked into these things...

I would rather cut off my right hand than make that commute back and forth. My hat's off to ye both for enduring this long. Fingers crossed that everything goes smooth with the new business. What's the doggie's name? Jennifer? Post pictures. So glad it's not another stuck-up cat, btw.

Are you excited to start up the new business? I think it's pretty exciting. We are going to start one up, and I think I should call you about it. Maybe if I ever get enough time...
