We did the usual for Easter. No new dresses or anything like that. For some reason this holiday doesn't really inspire me. We didn't even color eggs, you guys. And I had a couple dozen in my fridge.
You know what does inspire me? Gardening, and guess what, I got my first little sprouts today. I feel like I have just given birth. I think it is broccoli, but I am not 100% sure. It just happened so fast.

We didn't color eggs either...
We colored eggs, and it was just Cherie, Zach(15), and I. We also hid the eggs around the house, and hid each others Easter baskets. We're just fun that way.

You know- I try to get into gardening, but my thumb stays stubbornly black. It's sad- so sad.

Katie, are you sure it's broccoli and not a weed? That would be my problem, I wouldn't be able to tell the weeds from the produce. Wish you were living in Nampa and could do some gardening around here.
Awww, Gus and Mary look so cute! So do your kids, but you already know that. So, I'm planning to take flat Hazel to packing meeting tonight. We'll see if Tom brings her over...
