Yesterday...

Well, I didn't want to post yesterday because of all the fun things, and no one likes a Debbie Downer, but yesterday would have been my mom's 64th birthday.
I found it harder than I thought I would. I found myself crying few times. I decided to avoid church because, for some reason, I always end up crying there. I also found myself reflecting on all the good times. She was really such a great woman and mother. She was so sweet and warm. She was so eager to help, and would give up anything to make someone else happy. A truely selfless person.
Anyway, I love you and miss you mom. Thank you for the help in the garden, and the comfort when I am feeling sad. I know you are there.
Sorry for reusing pictures...scanner problems, and I am too lazy to look through folders for a different one. Besides, I like this one of her.

I'm sorry you didn't let us know you were feeling down. I still remember my down days after my dad died. It's hard not to think of them on certain days. Hope it gets easier. And hope it helps to know that Gus and I love you like we do our own daughters. You're pretty easy to love as you have all of your mother's wonderful qualities.

I'm glad you were fun-making in the book club blog last night. Amazing how you cheered others up while you were feeling down. You're awesome!

Oh Katie... I'm so sorry! You are so good to remember the good times & all the neat qualities about her. You shone at book club. SHONE! (that hardly even seems like a word now that I've typed it twice, weird).

I'm sorry. I feel like a schmuck for never even asking how you are doing with all that. You are always smiling so I just assume things are going great. We all know what assuming does.

I love that picture too. So sweet.
I can tell that your mom was a special lady and I can also tell you were a wonderful daughter. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I also love that picture of your Mom. She has such a great smile on her face! BTW- I am offended that my blog is not on your list. Don't you love your dear, oldest niece at all? :)

without trying to sound overly corny and also I know Im a bit late and a slow blogger, only cuz I tend to get busy at times, You are well loved and i always hope you know how many people you can always call and turn to..not only yer immediate family but also yer husbands. We all think of you as our own sister and we love you!. You have a great mother and we have all had the opportunity to be able to see that first hand. I hope you are feeling better and I cant wait to get a trip back to Boise soon to hang with all my sisters again soon...so enough of the corny, you cut back on the crack pipe yet?
