My Self-Portrait, Inspired By Emily

I was just looking around my sister Emily's blog. I noticed some pictures she posted that she took of herself. I thought they looked good, but I totally underestimated how hard it is to take a good picture of yourself. I took about 20 before I realized maybe it isn't my picture taking ability, but my face that is ruining every picture. I thought I would post some of the best ones. Or rather, worst ones. Don't I have a lot of freckles? Next time I try to take pictures of myself, I think I am going to put make-up on. Maybe even brush my hair.

Oh, stop Amanda. Shortly after this post Thomas came up to me and tried to touch my face. I asked him what he was doing and he said he wanted to touch that thing on my chin. Of coarse I let him. He said he liked the way it felt. I will also let that thing heal before my next try at self portraits.

I can't wait to walk down Burbon Street with you and watch all the homies go crazy! (I don't really know if there is a Burbon Street, but it sounds familiar)

Not bad, but you definitely need more practice. Here are some tips:
#1: Hold the camera as far away from your face as possible. See, whatever is closest to the lens becomes larger.
#2: ..... Okay, so I can only think of one. The rest is all intuition, I guess. What can I say, but that I am just a little better at everything than you! (I am totally kidding! Check my blog for some of the pictures I didn't post until now.)

Wow, that takes a lot of guts to post something like that. No, just kidding, I would actually like to see some more. Maybe you could imitate Emily and we could all just sit around and laugh at your pictures. It sure would brighten up my day. Love you.

Katie, did you forget everything we learned last weekend? Keep your chin up and look like you don't even care.
