That Was Tom...Not Dumb-BTW

I just thought I would quickly let you all know about Violet's thing. It isn't that big a deal. Just the removal of the tonsils and the adenoids. In and out, so I hear. I am actually really excited about it. She sounds so terrible at night. I feel sorry for Hazel, having to share a room and all with her. She snores so loud, but the apnea is the worst part. Soon enough she will be fine and breathing better. Enough said. (I do get a couple of free church meals out of it. I suggest getting your kids checked out.)

I have a couple of kids who whenever they see a doctor, the doc freaks out about their giant adnoids and tonsils. But I don't think they have apnea or even snoring. Steve on the other hand struggles with that.
Give us more details on your Dad's bride. I'm so curious. Are you coping ok with it?

Big adnoids. That's what she said. But srsly, I had my tonsils out as a kid and it was horrible. Good thing they've improved stuff so much. Hope it goes well.

Boo! Hope things get better and that your church meals are good ones.

And on the last post, that is the average American meal for one month! I saw that series in Time and loved it. The little Ecuadorian family with their five bags of grain made me kind of think that, though poor, they are getting way better nutrition these days.

I am sure she will be fine! Thanks for the info, though!

They say "in and out" but man it sounds miserable! When is the surgery? Good luck and enjoy those free meals while they last.

Are you sure this isn't a nose job disguised, as an adenoid removal surgery? So sad, tho. Take lots of pictures so I can really see what she's going thru.

I'm a lot confused about the Tom/dumb thing, btw.

Lucky you to get meals out of the deal. They didn't bring us meals when Aubrey got hers out. I guess they figured since I was having a baby the same month, I didn't deserve meals twice in one month.
The surgery is in and out but the recovery is hard. The 1st 2-3 days are horrible. We couldn't get Aubrey to drink, and we tried everything. We almost had to take her back to the hospital. Good luck!!!!
