Momma Drama

So, some very interesting things have happened this weekend. I guess it started last week when I found out that my dad was dating someone. He has dated in the past, but nothing too serious. I guess this one is serious. Since two of my sisters were going to bless their babies, I guess my dad thought it would be the perfect opportunity for us to meet her, and her meet us.

I must tell you that is was strange. She was so nice and so much about her reminded me of my mom. It has been hard to take my mind off all that this new relationship implies. I don't know exactly how I feel about it. I do want my dad to have someone that makes him happy, and let's face it, take care of him, but part of me thinks that they are moving too fast, and I think they have time to get to know each other better. If things kept going in the direction that they are going now, I would have 19 brothers and sisters

Just blogging what is on my mind.

For all of you that don't know, my mom died in August of last year, so that is the situation there. If you feel like you need something really depressing to do you can go ahead and look back on my post from around that time. I don't recommend it, but it is there for the curious.

I would like to dedicate these pictures to Landee, and say sorry to her that they are attached to such a weird post.

That picture of Atticus is awesome. Why is Tommy sleeping, curled up with a picture of Hanna Montana?

I knew the Atticus one would not disappoint. Knew it.

Okay now I think it is really sweet that you post pics for Tomás.

Also I have had no fewer than three step-parents and it was hard enough when my mom and dad were still alive. I am sure it is challenging to have a new person come around. Sorry it was awkward. Was she wearing a nice dress?

Don't you love how far away Wyoming is from Idaho? And I don't know which picture I laughed harder at, Atticus' or Tommy's.

I have to admit that it would be a little strange if my mom started dating someone but at the same time it make me happy knowing she isn't alone. That's a tough one.

That's gotta be weird! If anything I hope you end up at least liking her. It does seem to me to be a bit fast.

She sounds nice, but I haven't met her. And I think my mom is biased. I don't know. I just hope he's happy!
