For all of you who know Hazel, you know she is all about following the rules. She has created a list of rules for every room in our house. They are all great, but her most recent one is to die for. We moved all of the kids into one bedroom so we could have an office for work. Everyone was happy about the change, but to make four kids fit in one bedroom we had to get some bunk beds. I must have done a good enough job of explaining the dangers of playing on the top bunk. Most of the rules were about things not to be done up there, but my favorite is #16.

I see where her priorities are. It is obviously more important to not say a bad word, than it is to not kill.
You put all4 kids in 1 room??
She's a real Moses. We don't have rules like that in our house. We believe in the freedom to kill each other. It's what our forefathers died for.
I am glad she specified that rule. Does that only apply in their bedroom? Do they get to come out twice a day for bread and water? If my kids all shared a room together, Teddy would definitely be dead-killed by Wolfe, of course-and Wini would be humming and rocking in the corner, but at least I would have an office :) Love Ya <-- just in case I offended
UUH It is starting to smell in here...
Can you please change the sheets?
Please get rid of rule #16!!
I hope everyone is cooperating with the new rules and that the crime rate has dropped in Hazel's bedroom.
Hazel reminds me of Amy. We use to call her 'police woman'. But I am glad about rule #16 cause with 4 kids sharing just one room, it may become more important to have it posted for all occupants of the room to see.
Somebody, anybody, just break me now!
Please, I don't care anymore, just take me off my hinges and use me as firewood!
Please, Take some of the clothes out of me!
Priceless.
I like the no killing rule too.
p.s. 3 of our 4 kids sleep together on a queen size bed. It seemed safer for our dare devil, but it works, they all sleep WAAAAY better when there all together.
