Look At My Kids!

I just love my kids! I seriously have the cutest kids ever. Yeah, I farted, jealous? Sorry, I watched Saturday Night Live last night (not live obviously because last night was tuesday) and I thought it was so funny. I love girls with only one leg that love to fart. Anyways...here are some gems that I took. I have some really funny ones of Atticus, but I am saving them for his birthday video. You'll just have to wait.

Out of Obligation

I don't really have anything to qrite about. I have been so busy with work stuff that I have missed out on everything. I did go to Hazel's school to help out on Valentines day, and her teacher totally misspelled everyone. She wrote "everone". I don't know how I feel about that. NOSEY!! Tom is looking over my shoulder at what i am writing. I hate that! By the way did i mention my boobs are fake and I wear a wig and I like the guy from the wiggles who wears the purple shirt and i like to be buttercupped and I smell and I eat a cube of butter a day and Tom's cool and I changed my name to shoe, call me shoe from now on.

Hungry Again?

Atticus is so cute! This morning when I went in to get him, the second he saw me he stopped crying and said gee gee (hungry). I know. Super cute, huh. This is a picture of him eating his favorite thing, anything that is intended for the animals. On this particular day, I had put the left over soup from lunch down for the dog, but Atticus found it first. I think he gets the bulk of his nutrition from cat food.

Always Blogging

Does everyone else just go about their day thinking, "This would be a funny blog if I made it into a movie. I have the perfect song to go with it." I think about this all day. I wonder why they never come to fruition. Is anyone else's spell check broken? I am a terrible speller, and I am feeling very exposed. Also can't add an image. Is there anybody out there who can help me? I can do a video though. I am so comfused. You want a video? Hazel wanted to make a movie and...

Nearly Caught Up

I have been buried under a mountain of bookkeeping. I thought Iwould finish early enough to enjoy the night, but here it is 8:48. I am ready for bed. I did finally get my gigantic mountain of laundry put away. I found myself resenting it. Doesn't it know how busy I am? The mountain just reminded me how much easier socks are to find when they are together. They were right. Today was the best sock day ever! Sorry for all the neglected blogs and other things I wanted to do instead. Things I started, but didn't finish. I will get to them tomorrow. Hopefully...

What Do You Do?

Hazel has recently taken an interest in boys. She has this "boyfriend, Dayton" at school. She told me that he gets a number (you get a number in you are bad. First 1,2, and 3 gets a call to the parents) every day. She said she thinks he is really funny because he says bad words during story time and replaces all of the words to the songs they are learning with "poopy". She is only in kindergarten. There is also a little boy that I babysit every once in a while (I actually get paid for this one) who is the most spoiled kid I have ever met. He demands pizza for every meal he eats at my house. If I don't get it for him he will not eat until his mom comes and picks him up. Don't you worry. I have no problem letting him starve. He told his mom that she was going to take him to get pizza right now or he wasn't going to leave with her. After pizza he told her they were going to pick out a new game that he had played at my house and liked. Not "can we", but "we are". I was shocked when she told him okay. Hazel thinks this boy is so cool. There is another little boy that I babysit everyday, Marcitto, that is the same age as these two. He is so nice. he is nice to the little kids, helps me do the dishes, and always eats what he is given and says thank you. (I watch this boy for free, but I would rather watch him for free than the other boy for money.) Hazel does not like him. So, what do you do? I have a feeling things are going to get worse. By the way, Hazel has never had a number. It would kill her if she got one. It doesn't make any sense why she like this boy.
Nathan-the spoiled one.

Marcitto-the nice oneDayton is in the green shirt-the naughty one

Party at My House!

I would like to invite anyone who would like to come to a Superbowl party at my house. Tomorrow, lets say 2-ish. There will be some amazing chicken and a chocolate cake that I got because I wanted it and couldn't justify eating a 10 pound chocolate cake all by myself. Hope to see you all there.

I thought I would post a picture of my yard all trimmed up. And yes, this is the AFTER picture.

One of Those Days

Yesterday was one of those days. You know, the ones where you wonder why you decided to get out of bed in the morning. First thing in the morning I got a call from the contractors board saying that the insurance I had sent with my renewal would not work because it was about to expire. (I had been on the phone with the insurance company every day for about a week arguing with them about this exact situation, and they insisted that they would except it and it was their policy to not isssue a new policy until the old one expired.) They also told me that my finalcials were incomplete and I had many things categorized wrong. (You try to save a few bucks by doing all the accounting on your own and look where it gets you.) Just incase that wasn't enough to swallow, I decided to trim up all of the far-to-overgrown bushes in the front yard. A day long project. The accounting task turned out to be a bit easier than I had expected. I just had to recatigorize a few of my accounts, and factor in the payments I had made from my personal checking account. Problem #1, check. I made one more call to the insurance company who was embarrased and faxed the renewed certificate right away. Problem #2, check. Now, back to the yard. I was busy sawing off branches, when my neighbor took pity on me and brought out his giant clippers. He helped me for about 10 minutes and then offered to pick up Hazel from school for me. I was grateful. I was covered on dirt, leaves, and sweat. About 30 minutes later he came running down the street telling me they wouldn't let him take her because he wasn't on my list. I rushed to the school where I got a nice lecture from the office attendants about the school policy on who is allowed to pick up kids. They had already called my sister-in-law, Jenny, to come pick her up. Luckily, I got a hold of her. (Sorry for the scare Jenny and Tom). Problem #3, check. Then, something great happened. I came home to the neighbor and all of his kids cleaning up the mess in my yard. We all worked together for about two more hours to clean up the mess. Problem #4, check. Hazel got me a big glass of water and told me she was going to take care of the kids the rest of the night. She cleaned up the mess all by herself. I don't know what I would do without her. She is amazing, and I am going to take full credit for it. Days like that make me realize how great my family and neighbors really are.
