Christmas Chaos

I just wanted everyone to have the chance to be with us in our most important events, and since I don't have room for you all (or refreshments that I want to share) you are all invited via my blog. I know it is a bit corny, but I am working with a very limited music selection. Frankly, I am surprised that Barry Manilow Christmas was in my collection, but for times like this i am thankful. I had a "cooler" Christmas CD, but it just wasn't working. It was setting the wrong mood. Not that Barry isn't cool, he definitely has his moments, I just don't think Christmas is his holiday. No offense to all those Manilow lovers out there.

Did anyone else notice that my kids are always in their pajamas? That is the way we roll at our house. We don't get dressed unless we have to. Even then, not always. Really, pajamas go with everything, including Christmas tree decorating.

I hope this puts everyone in the mood for Christmas. I am pretty sure this is going to be the best one so far. (I think I say that every year) Now, lets get some egg nog and some decent Christmas music. Anyone up for a little mexican?... train that is.

Tom doesn't think this is funny, so look forward to some real belly laughs (his words) from Tom. Coming soon...

What a nice family moment, thanks for sharing. And thanks for sharing it with Barry too, he is wonderful. (not depressing at all)

That was amazing! Your videos have a particular style that I LOVE--there's a subtle grooviness to them. I love how Barry just talks in a normal voice in his songs, rather than actually sing. He's lazy, I think.

"It was Christmas time, and the house was in Cheigh-Os"--that was my opening line in a talk I gave in sacrament meeting when I was in Young Womens. I had never seen the word "chaos" written out, and I pronounced it Cheigh-Os. Everyone laughed (my parents were the loudest) and I paused for a moment, trying to figure out what was so funny, and then continued on with my story.

Your clever little title just reminded me of that fateful day.

I love your beautiful kids. I have enjoyed seeing them on the videos. I think that is a great way to share them. You will have to teach me how to do it. First, I better get some pictures. I love you all. Merry Christmas.
