So, Now What?

I am really sad right now. Tom is going to leave early in the morning, heading for Las Vegas again. I miss him when he is gone. I need him here to pick out something for me to watch. I am seriously unable to find something decent to watch all by myself. I head for the old fail safes like the discovery channel, TLC, National Geographic Channel, etc. The only problem is they have scary shows on at night... And dinner, he made the best grilled chicken for dinner. I just can't make it the same. Needless to say,I am gonna miss that fella.
Sadly, he is going to take the computer with him which will leave me blogicap. For all those who need a bit of me ever day. Just call. I'll be there.
This picture implies nothing. It is about 2 years old, but I like the sweetness, and I thought it fit my feelings. To reiterate, there is no baby in my tummy. That baby was Atticus.

Momma's Boy

Well, Tom is back in town. It is so good to have him here. I have been lonely, and ended up watching a alien abduction show-alone, totally abductable.
Atticus has always loved me (I don't blame him) too much, but he has been so jealous of Tom. Tom came and gave me a hug and a kiss, and Atticus started screaming and trying to come between us. This has been happening every time he comes near me. He won't let me leave the room without following me screaming to pick him up and take him with me. I am starting to get a little creeped out. I feel sorry for his future girlfriends.

I'm Back!

This post is dedicated to all of those bloggers out there who just can't make it though the day without looking at my blog. I know this past week has been hard for you. You all can comment about how much you miss me, and my blog, on my sister's blog. Or rather, could have...you know, 'cause I'm back now.
I would like to start by telling you how much I love it here. I haven't been this happy since the last week in January 2000. I feel like I am in the mountains. It is like I am camping with a kitchen and bathroom. What could be better?
Today is the first day both of my kids rode the bus to and from school. I would like to take a moment to talk about this. The bus is the best thing ever! Better than pizza or reeses. I didn't have to get dressed until about 10:00. (This is a pretty regular thing for me, when I have no place to go. Would have been in my PJ's longer if I hadn't decided to pull weeds in my little piece of heaven I call home.) I LOVE the bus!

The only thing missing is Jenny...you're coming...right?

Big Boy

Today, when I walked in the door, Violet looked at me and said, "mom". Then Atticus looked at me and said, "mom". This is a big deal because Atticus has never really said mom before, but his is where the story turns... He followed that up with a, "I want a cracker." Is it possible for a baby to learn to talk in one day? Yesterday was, "jabber, jabber, jabber", and today it's, "mom, I want a cracker?" What the...

Bet You Were Wondering...

I know you are all dying to know why I am on the computer. That is right. I am just trying to find my kids new school in Idaho! We are moving! This Friday! Yikes! Can you feel the excitement?! Look at all my exclamation points. I am really excited, huh. The timing couldn't be better. Just a couple of nights ago we heard gun shots. (Sadly, we have heard them before.) We went to bed, just like normal, but Tom had an appointment with a nearby customer the next day. He asked him if he had heard the gun shots. He said it was his neighbor, out in his back yard, just shooting his gun into the air. That would never, ever happen in Idaho (ahem...Tom...Morgan). Anyway, thank goodness it wasn't a drug deal gone bad, all the drug deals going on in my neighborhood were successful, but he added that the cops NEVER showed up. I have been ready to go for a long time, but that was the last nail in Las Vegas's coffin.
