My Little Scout

So, Thomas is officially a scout. He was so cute at his first meeting, and you should have seen him picking out his uniform. Only one thing has topped it, kidz bop, but it was a close second. I feel really lucky to live in a "richer " area. (If only they knew I was just renting.) They have great involvement, and activities planned. I think it is because most of the parents rarely work, in fact the pack leader (I think that is what he is called) does scouts for his "job". I know he is a bit young, but it suits him, and while he is bouncing off the walls at home, he is patient, obedient, and focused at the meetings. I think he may just be a professional scout some day.

What color kerchief is that for? Bobcat? Super cool. My kids didn't get that. I'm really glad you are enjoying it and Thomas too. But I am so over scouts now I could scream.

I feel bad for Memzy who has 3 scouts to worry about. I know what she's saying.

He looks so cute in that picture!

YAY, he's so adorable in his uniform. We're way to lazy to do scouts.

He'll be helping old ladies cross the street in no time.

Scouting is loads of fun- until they get bored of it. Then it's a nightmare...

You pried yourself away from facebook and blogged? Did swine flu or something? Good.

Professional scouter coming thru, move out the way. ::clearing throat:: The orange kerchief represents Tiger scouts, which is done in first grade, through the school's scouting organization, and it's a total hands-on parenting nightmare that gets old fast. He will have to earn his bobcat badge first, tho, as does every cub scout no matter when they start, including Memzy's ten boys.
