Old Pictures

I have been digging though old pictures. You know, the kind that actually come out on paper. I haven't looked at them for so long, but I have been working on a video for Violet for her birthday. I found some of the cutest pictures. You forget how cute your kids were and how much they have grown up. Here is a really cute one of Violet circa 2005.

Music You Want To Be A Part Of

I recently watched this movie, "Once". The movie was pretty good, but the soundtrack was really cool. A bit depressing, but I am really into that sort of stuff. I recommend you listen to "Falling Slowly" or "When your mind's made up" on my playlist. You won't be disappointed. I had two posts today so don't forget to read all about Atticus.

It's Snot Love

Atticus is a bit sick. He has had a runny nose. Poor little guy. This morning when he woke up I decided to bring him into bed with me. (Apparently ten hours of sleep just wasn't enough. I slept from 9:30-7:30.) As he lay next to me, eating, blowing a little more snot on me with every breath, I realized, I love this boy so much that I will let him blow his sick snot all over me. There are very few people out there that I would allow to do that. I made it a little easier because every few seconds he would stop eating and give me the biggest three tooth smile. I LOVE THAT BOY!

Hazel's Rules

For all of you who know Hazel, you know she is all about following the rules. She has created a list of rules for every room in our house. They are all great, but her most recent one is to die for. We moved all of the kids into one bedroom so we could have an office for work. Everyone was happy about the change, but to make four kids fit in one bedroom we had to get some bunk beds. I must have done a good enough job of explaining the dangers of playing on the top bunk. Most of the rules were about things not to be done up there, but my favorite is #16.

For All Of The People Who Don't Get It:

It starts out with a Fizzix yogurt in one corner of the ring, and in the other corner is a tongue. They meet. The tongue appears to be winning at first, but the yogurt wraps around the tongue and shocks it, leaving it unable to fight any longer. The yogurt is victorious! I tried to find the commercial on Youtube, but I guess it isn't cool enough to make it there. I honestly thought I wouldn't need it, but I guess in the age of Tivo many commercials go unwatched.

Tongues Are Strong

Thomas was admiring himself in the mirror after I brushed his teeth. He was sliding his tongue over the newly cleaned surface when he told me, "Tongues are strong, stronger than teeth, but they are not stronger than yogurt.." If you don't get it you don't watch enough TV.

Can You Hold It?

I was in the bathroom scrubbing the toilet when Violet walks in saying she has to go to the bathroom. I ask her if she can hold it. She say, "Okay, I guess I can." Then she bends down and grabs the bottom of the toilet. Thanks for the laughs! Love ya!

I LOVE My Music

I could just hang out on my blog all day long. I think I have the coolest music ever. I can see why Jenny took hers off. (Not nearly as cool as mine) I especially love "You're a Wolf" 'Mmm mmm mmm", and "Winter something or other" by Sea Wolf also. I am really into them right now. So, just sit back, relax, and enjoy. You deserve it!

I Have Genius Spawn

I know you all won't belive me, but Hazel posted this all by her self. I went to check out my comments and there she was. I must say, if i had taken that picture it would have been all over my blog anyway. Hazel took the picture, downloaded it to the computer, and posted it onto my blog all by herself. I have never been so proud!

Popular

This is the long awaited, mysteriously deleted, video. Well my friends, it is a new year miracle. I went to finish the crudely thrown together video that I had saved, and I found this nearly complete video. I must have saved it more than I thought. Thank goodness too. Thanks to all my New Years resolutions, I wasn't going to have more than a few minutes a day to work on it, and by the time I actually finished it the kids would be older and more company would have surely come. Making this video not only obsolete but offensive. Thank you Jenny for telling me to save save save.
