I MOM LUV YOU

Forced Movie Review

I had worked for a couple hours on a video that i was going to post today. jenny had warned me that I need to save the movies frequently, but i thought no, that is just her crappy computer that keeps freezing. Mine would never do such a thing. I had finally finished (an what a fine piece of work) I clicked on publish to my computer and...nothing...the program was not responding...would you like you close the program?...you will lose unsaved changes...wait for program to respond...I thought I would just wait. I waited for about 30 minutes...not responding...would you like to restart the program?...you will lose any unsaved changes...

Well, that is why I am posting my review of 27 Dresses. I thought it was great. I am going to give it five embroidered sweaters. Anything that makes me laugh out loud in public gets five. I would like to point out that Jenny and I laughed out loud at the same thing, but the usually very enthusiastic audience was silent.

Chronic-WHAT-cles of a Candy Addict Part 3

It's The Final Countdown:
do do do do do do do do do do do

I have spent a lot of time reflecting on the roller coaster that has been my relationship with candy. It has been a good friend that never leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I love the way it makes me feel while I am eating it, but I hate the guilt and belly distention that come when I am done. I am looking forward to the change, but I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the Reeses, Twixs', Yorks, Hot Tamales, Licorice, Peanut Butter M & Ms, and chocolate with nuts in it. I'm sure I am leaving someone out, but I love you all, and I will miss you.

Director's note: There are a couple of periods of silence in the movie. Video taping candy in public (I guess) is strange to some people, and I didn't want to share my last words to those sweet things with an audience.

Busy, Busy, Busy

I know you have all been waiting for a great post. I have some in the works, but I have been so busy with Christmas and all. Life always seems to gt in the way of my all important blogging. I had to create a blog for Hazel for Christmas. You all should check it out. Keep checking in. Oh, and Jenny...you better watch out. My video is going to beat the "pants" off your videos.

Knocked Up!

Oh no she didn't! I would like to put my feelings about this into a heartfelt poem.

Once a lass met a lad. You're a gentle one said she.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah if you love me for me.

I don't know what all the fuss is about? Having a baby is a beautiful thing. This is a great age for her to realize what it is like to have to be responsible for someone besides yourself. I am sure she will...you know what, she probably won't.

This One Is All Yours Tim

I am going to pass the enormous chore to Tim W8. I think he will have plenty of help with all of the voices in his head. Who came up with that crummy idea for blog awards any way. I don't have time for that. I have too many kids and videos to make. How am I supposed to win anything if i have to put together and awards blog? I will vote Jenny for the best video, not sure which on to chose. The most annoying blog goes to Tom (by a landslide). The best comment is a hard one. I have laughed so hard at so many. Erin is consistently funny, but so is Amy. I love Amy's clarifying definitions, but I laugh out loud almost every time I read anything from Erin. Most dedicated blogger is jenny who has spent not only countless hours, but real dollars for her blogs (that never disappoint). Morgan wins for best photo shop, but only for quantity of funny ones. my favorite photo shop was Sara's shaving head picture. It makes my eyes water just thinking about it. Best music related to subjects is Becky. I don't know where she finds those gems. The best "gamer" is Tim. he keeps pulling me in also liked you photo of the tiger (check it out if you don't know what I am talking about) The saddest thing about this is, i am sure everyone elses blogs are just as great, but I don't have the time to check them out regularly.

Now, to make this work I am going to need everyone to vote. (if you would like to remain anonymous, you can send it directly to my email tkmorgan@cox.net ) The winners will be announced January 1st ish. Also, if you would like to add a category let me know as soon as possible so everyone can vote on it. Rules, Rules, Rules, no getting offended!!! This for fun. You don't have to vote for me just because it is my idea (very original). Since it is my idea, i have the final say on which categories will actually appear in my awards blog. ( I thought I might need to add this after seeing the things Tom added.)

New Year's Resolutions

This is going to be the year I really stick to my resolutions. I have the added incentive of a class reunion coming up. Now that is motivation. Sara and Morgan, you are the same age as I am. I don't know if you realized it has been ten years already. My how time flies. I remember when...(this service is available to all the bloggers, a chance to reminisce. You can reflect on anything you want. Only good memories allowed ...you're welcome.) I am going to miss those green rice crispy treats.

Fried Spiders

Due to the great unexpected response from my video "Mine's Moving", I am posting the original clip from the restaurant. I know the video is a little grainy, but the images you are about to see are real. The footage is undoctored, and uncut. (mostly due to the lack of editing software.) About 20 animals were harmed in the making of this video, but they were ugly, squirmy, and aggressive so your welcome. If you look very closely at the very beginning of the video, you can see what appears to be the mouth, or perhaps the behind, of a mature Sasquatch. Very rare in Las Vegas.

Mine's Moving

Well, I know that ya'll have been waiting for an update. I have been very busy with my anniversary and all. Tom and I spent the day at me mall visiting with Santa (a little sitting on his lap), shopping for what should have been presents for the in-laws, but turned into clothes shopping for the kids. Then rush to drop the kids off at the babysitter. I didn't even have time to take a shower or put any make-up on. We went out to dinner with me in a baggy sweater, dirty pants (not dirty like poopy, dirty like they had dirt on them), and dishevelled hair pulled loosely into a ponytail. FOXY! We started with an appetizer of calamari (one of my favorites). This place must have been very fancy because it came with legs, no tentacles, suckers and all. I had to pull out my camera that I had in my purse, and take a picture right then. (I tried to do it subtly as not to draw attention at this fancy place. I didn't to look like I wasn't used to seeing deep fried tentacles.) Tom wouldn't try them. I could only eat one before getting too grossed out, but it was totally worth every penny. By far the best part of the day. Don't you worry, I did finally get a shower after all the kids had gone to bed. Happy Anniversary to me!

What We Like To Do

There are tons of videos by Hazel. It is hard to find one that meets the criteria for the blog. This one meets most of them. It has equal face time. (you all know how important that is to this family. FFT Act of 2007) It has no unflattering picture of mom, and it isn't endless or too brief. I hope you all enjoy it. Some day you will get to see some of the really good videos. I need to fix my Windows Vista problem. Stupid windows vista-it won't let me download my videos to my editing program. Any nerds out there with advice, I would be happy to hear it. I've tried a couple things, but nothing has worked.

No More Babies For Me!

I would like to address all of those pregnancy rumors. I am not pregnant!! That is sick. What kind of weirdo would have kids one right after the other like that? Not me for sure. I am happy to inform you all that you will never hear me say those words in that combination again. By the way, Amy is pregnant.

Chronic-WHAT-cles of a Candy Addict Part 2

Part 2 of the struggles I face everyday. Warning: do not watch if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. Some images may be disturbing to some viewers so viewer discretion is advised. Rated TV MA for drug referances and adult situations.

Don't you think I should win the award for the best mix of genetic material? I do!

Authenic "Mom" Jeans

Well, yesterday was laundry day. All of my pants that I usually wear were in the wash. I had to decide between shorts and maternity pants. Since I hadn't shaved my legs, the choice was easy. Maternity pants! These weren't the panel pants, you know, the elastic waistband, just like the one you all know and love with the elastic you pull out and secure with a button. I didn't plan on leaving the house so it was going to be fine. Around noon, the kids seemed more out of control than normal, and who cares if I wear maternity pants to the park? Not me that is for sure. I have never been so comfortable in my entire life. I deiced to wear them the rest of the day, to Walmart, and Costco. I even ran into someone from my ward. I don't regret my choice to stay dressed in those pants. It was totally worth it. I thought I would put a picture on here to show how unattractive they were, but I could only get Violet to help me with taking the picture. i must say she did pretty good for a two year old. The lovely pants even transitioned into night. Comfy enough to sleep in. I recommend that everyone get a pair.

A lot of Hazel and Atticus

This is the second part in this two part series. Hazel immediately took a camera full of pictures of herself so I could make a movie of her. I hope it meets her expectations, and the expectations of all the hard to please bloggers out there.
